Kearney contracted with Walmart and began wiring distribution centers in other states, the first being Hurricane, UT and Red Bluff, CA.

In 1991, the Dial tower was completed, giving Dial Corporation a world headquarters in Phoenix Arizona. With it’s unique design, the 24 floor building is one of the tallest and most recognizable in the city.

Located in central Phoenix’s business district, the 45,000 square foot tower was built on 1 acre for APS, Arizona’s oldest electric company.

The construction of the Marriott Intercontinental in San Diego was the first major project that brought Kearney Electric out of Arizona and into California. Contracted with Hunt Construction, Kearney sent around 250 field electricians to build and wire the Landmark hotel.
