We are accepting applications for qualified candidates who have at least 1 year of experience in the Structured Cabling Industry. Some specific job expectations are:
Must be able to work in a construction area at heights, on a ladder and in confined spaces
Must be self-motivated, professional, and be able to work flexible hours and shifts
Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors
Lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Be able to distinguish colors or communication materials
Must have reliable transportation to all job sites
Must be high school graduate or have a GED
Specific Structured Cabling experience includes:
Install cable tray and supports correctly
Rough in various types of cable above ceiling or raised floor
Dress cables in pathways, work areas, down a wall and/or through modular furniture
Terminate CAT5E, CAT6, CAT6A, RG6, RG11 jacks
Mount faceplates and surface mount boxes correctly and adhere to cabling standards
Assemble racks and/or cabinets
Develop basic skills in terminating patch panels and wiring blocks.
